    Stay warm with our hand-knitted caps. These are knitted with care at our decentralised knitting groups. Kilmora has 7 knitting groups, each with 35-40 women. These women are given wool to knit at home and give us their pieces when they meet our knitting supervisor once a week.

    Material: Hand-knitted acrylic.

    Each piece is unique and has a different colour and design combination. The piece(s) which we send you will be chosen at random.

    Hand-crafted pieces have minor irregularities and differences that make them exquisite and unique.

    We are currently shipping within India only. For bulk orders, or any other queries, please write to us at info@kgu.org.in

    We are based out of mountainous Himalayas (close to 7,000 feet) in Uttarakhand where connectivity and logistics are a challenge. Our orders are sent out via Speed Post or courier and should reach in about 7 days after you place your order.

    Note:
    Our products are not eligible for returns. They are created by weavers or knitters by hand, or procured from small and marginal farmers.
    However, in the event of your receiving a damaged product, please email a photograph of the said product to us (at info@kgu.org.in) within 48 hours of receiving your order.

    Our team will get back with a resolution at the earliest.

    Welcoming the festive season with happiness of handmade. The Kilmora gift box gives you a glimpse of the beauty of our handmade and handwoven products. Hand-woven by men and women on looms that sound magical. Hand-knit warmth from joyous women of Kumaon who share a unique sisterhood amongst them. Paired with a delicious plum jam that gives you a taste of Himalayas n its small batch, slow cooked deliciousness.

    All of it sitting atop a bed of pine needles that remind you of the Himalayas. A small memory of long walks in redolent pine forests from where you perhaps carried back beautiful pine cones and these springy pine needles that create the perfect environment friendly packaging for our warmth.

    This basket comprises:
    – Hand-woven stole – pure merino wool stole handmade on looms at our weaving centre in Budibana, Uttarakhand.
    – Hand-knit cap – hand-knit by women here in Kumaon. Each cap carries with it the joy and confidence of a woman who earns her own livelihood from her beautiful knitting.
    – Hand-knit Santa – who doesn’t love a Santa to usher in the festive season? Hand-knit by women in Kumaon to add that right touch of festive cheer to your gifting.
    Plum Jam – made from plums grown in Ramgarh, the fruit belt of Kumaon. Slow cooked, small batch and low sugar – one can taste plum’s fruity tartness in each spoon.
